My Roots

I’m a clinical herbalist who takes a whole-person, evidence-informed approach to health and well-being. My path into herbal medicine grew from a deep appreciation for nature and the therapeutic potential of plants that have supported human physiology for generations. Living close to nature continues to shape my perspective, reminding me that the body—like the earth—thrives when given the right conditions to restore and heal.

I combine science, herbal medicine, nutrition, and sustainable lifestyle practices to support the body’s natural capacity for balance, adaptation, and repair.

Herbal medicine is central to my practice. I consider plant constituents, available research, traditional use, and energetics when selecting herbs for each individual. Rather than choosing plants solely for a symptom, I consider the broader patterns affecting health and how the body may respond to specific herbs and formulations.

Through clinical intake, individualized protocols, and ongoing assessment, I help identify meaningful areas for change and develop practical, sustainable ways of living that reconnect people to the foundations of health.

Rooted Wisdom is more than a practice—it’s a philosophy. I honor the intelligence of plants, the rhythms of nature, and the innate wisdom within each person. To me, healing is not simply the absence of illness, but a state of physiological and emotional balance, resilience, and connection.

Who I Work With

Rooted Wisdom is for people who want a deeper understanding of their health and a thoughtful, individualized approach to feeling well.

I work with adults navigating concerns such as hormonal transitions, menopause, sleep, stress and nervous system balance, digestive health, metabolic health, and the effects of chronic stress and depletion. Many are looking beyond symptom management and want to understand what may be contributing to how they feel.

A Holistic Approach to Health

Health is more than a collection of symptoms to be managed. When symptoms arise, the answer is not always found in simply treating the symptom itself. Understanding the factors that influence health can create opportunities for deeper, more lasting change.

At Rooted Wisdom, we look more broadly. Nutrition, sleep, movement, stress, daily rhythms, environment, and plant medicine can all play meaningful roles in supporting the body's natural capacity for balance and resilience.

I use evidence-backed herbal medicine together with individualized lifestyle strategies to support the foundations of health. Plants contain complex compounds that can work with the body's own systems, and when thoughtfully selected and appropriately used, they can become an important part of a comprehensive wellness plan.

The goal is not simply to chase symptoms. It is to understand the bigger picture, address contributing factors, and create the conditions that support the body’s capacity to restore balance and thrive.

Rooted Wisdom brings together the wisdom of traditional plant medicine, current evidence, and the foundations of healthy living to support lasting change.
